ABOUT THE PRODUCT
SMART Xpress Composting Machine treats the organic bio-degradable waste at the source. It operates with a very simple mechanism that breaks down the complex bio-degradable waste into its simpler forms. This deodorised waste-stock is further cured within the machine for 2-3 days to produce the compost as an end product. This ready compost acts as a soil conditioner and maintains the fertility of the soil.
The salient features of this machine are

Concept
Mechanical Composting is an efficient method of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) disposal. The machine, with an in-built shredder (optional), cylindrical churning system, and heating arrangement, reduces waste volume, accelerates decomposition, and produces compost ready for field use.
Process
Segregated biodegradable waste is fed into the machine where shredding (optional) and composting occur together. Thermophilic microorganisms convert waste into compost under controlled heating (50–55°C) and uniform mixing. The exothermic reaction removes moisture, ensuring dry compost in a few days. Air circulation supports aerobic composting, and the compost can be discharged periodically for direct field application.

Concept
Mechanical Composting is an efficient MSW disposal method using a built-in shredder and churning system to reduce waste volume and speed up decomposition, producing ready-to-use compost for field application.
Process
Segregated biodegradable waste is fed into the machine, where shredding and composting occur together. Microorganisms act on shredded waste (with sawdust/dried leaves added for moisture balance). The aerobic process generates heat, aiding moisture evaporation and quick composting. Compost is discharged at intervals and can be directly used in agriculture.
